Werewolf ranking system

The ranking system for werewolves determine a werewolf's place of dominance within the werewolf society. This structure also determines one's ability to tap into their powers to access greater potential. There are five ranks within the system.

Ranks From lowest To Highest:
New Moon:
Those of this rank are usually weak at birth are usually the most hostile due to their weakness. Those with these ranks never really reach their full potential and often become loners. They are sometimes cast out of their packs and given to humans by cruel werewolves who see them unfit to live in there packs. These werewolves often have trouble with there powers even with the most intricate of totems. They often can only shapeshift into small common house dogs and simply stay that way allowing themselves to be cared for by humans. Those of these ranks often form packs. A group of four New Moons will have the strength combined of one young moon Rank. There however no stopping those of this rank from trying to put there hostility or anger to work.

Young Moon:
Those of this rank tend to be a bit less hostile and tend to learn quicker than those of New Moon rank. Those of this rank tend be more of thinkers and strategist. They are able to look at things from different perspectives making them effective in tactical situations. Young Moons tend to be most connected with New Moons oddly enough. There connection is mostly the clearer head. Some packs have learned that a Young Moon and New moon make for a better combination. Young Moons are a lot closer to their full potential however it is still out of reach. They can progress with time if they keep at it however should they progress then stop training they will lose that power. This rank can take the shape and size of any medium size house pet. They are also able to turn some wild canid forms such as Fennec foxes, Red foxes and Dholes. It takes three Young Moons to be as strong as one Crescent Moon.

Crescent Moon:
Those at this rank tend to be a bit more level headed and a little less hostile and tend be more in tuned with there powers. Those at this rank tend to lean towards being fighters then strategist as find their connection with there powers makes them stronger. Crescents usually are bodyguards to those of the New/Young moon ranks due to them being weaker. This rank is compatible with the Young Moon rank due to them being more capable of defending themselves and being able to put intricate task to motion without having to strain themselves or worry about running out of power to quickly. Crescents are able to take the shape of larger dogs such as an Irish wolfhound,Great Dane or Kuvasz. Hybrids mixes of the dogs are also something werewolves of this rank can do but it hit or miss. They are also able to wild forms such as a Grey wolf ,Red wolf or Maned wolf. It takes two Crescent moons to be as strong as one single Full moon. 

 Full Moon: 
Those of this rank where once used as soldiers to fight during the war. They where created and built to fight and handle things on there own during the Soulterian war. However with the threat of war gone they are no longer needed for that purpose. Werewolves of this rank are not to hostile and are more level headed. They are durable and built to last. They can easily defend themselves with little to no problem. They heal quicker than lower ranking werewolves and will even be able to likely survive thru there time when you could kill them unless you fully kill them on there moon rank. Werewolves of this rank are able to hunt and kill with a better efficiency than say a two crescent moons on there own. Full Moons are larger and stand out among the other werewolves coming up to about 5ft tall on all fours. They are powerful adversaries to have around. One Full Moons can easily cause a large amount of destruction on their own and two would be well a two man army. They are large and somewhat in charge. They usually are what one would think of when thinking of a werewolf. They can take any canine form from fennec fox to an actual wolf. If it's a type of canine then they can take it. These guys can take literally anyone with ease if they try hard enough however Old Moons can still put them in there place.

Old Moon:
These guys are the big tuff cookies of the werewolf world. They are stronger then every rank combined. They are built to last like the Full Moon accept it takes a lot to take them down (with some exceptions). They can use any and every elemental power given to them making them dangerous foes. They can cause mass destruction on their own and hold up for longer times. However these guys can still be overwhelmed. Get enough to appose them and they can be taken down. These monster of a werewolf stand at a height 7.5 feet tall on all fours. Even without powers they can do some serious damage to others. These guy are usually teachers to other ranks as they have the ability to share their expanded powers to others giving helpful knowledge for them. They are this rank does not technically exist any more as it became less common as generations changed. It is near impossible to find an old moon ranked werewolf anymore as first gens have long since become far and few in between.
